History

BioMaxima was established  in September 2002 on the initiative of 7 people connected with the laboratory diagnostics branch for many years. Initial capital came solely from Polish investors. In August 2003 BioMaxima successfully underwent the certification audit of the Quality Management System carried out by the British company, ISOQAR. The system has been accepted as compatible with the international standard ISO 9001 : 2000. Originally, the company offered rapid tests and biochemical reagents. Trying to meet the clients' expectations, BioMaxima consecutively introduced   new groups of products: urine strips, latex tests, ELISA tests, hematology and a wide range of analysers for small and medium laboratories. During the first 6 years BioMaxima functioned as a limited liability company and in 2008 was transformed into a joint stock company. Beacause of the dynamic development, BioMaxima received in 2009 permit for running of a business and building new production site on the ground of the Special Economic Zone.
