Obtaining accreditation certificate No. AB 1863 Quality Control Laboratory Microbiology within the scope of ISO 17025
We are pleased to announce that Biomaxima S.A. has reached another milestone in a whole series of activities aimed at ensuring the highest quality standards.
The Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA) has issued accreditation certificate No. AB 1863 for the Quality Control Laboratory of the microbiology department of Biomaxima S.A.. The document certifies that the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 are met. The accreditation covers microbiological testing of media in terms of quantitative methods, membrane filtration methods, qualitative methods of media on petri dishes and in tubes.
Certificates of Analysis issued by PCA accredited laboratories are recognised throughout the European Union and in countries that are signatories to multilateral international agreements (MLA/MRA). Biomaxima S.A. is the second entity in Poland to have ISO 17025 certificate for the Quality Control Laboratory of the microbiology department.
Having the ISO 17025 certificate formally confirms the ability of the Laboratory to issue reliable, reliable and reliable test results for products. It ensures that staff are independent and competent to carry out their assigned tasks. It certifies BioMaxima SA as a reliable supplier in the competitive market.
The Polish Accreditation Centre (PCA) is the only national accreditation body authorised to accredit the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02. The process of obtaining and maintaining a certificate is complex and time-consuming and requires a significant commitment from the company in terms of both time and resources. The implementation of the standard took more than a year and consisted of many stages.
